Help employees work safely and injury free

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations

Manage our Workers Compensation claims and help injured employees safely return to work

Qualifications
-
2-4 years ergonomic design or occupational safety experience
-
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and/or experience; degree in Occupational Health/Safety preferred
-
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills; builds strong working relationships with vendors, business partners and all levels of staff within the organization
-
Knowledge of OSHA, Workers Compensaton and state safety regulations
-
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office applications
-
Strong analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from multiple sources of data
-
Ability to work very independently
-
Strong problem solving skills; ability to determine root cause
-
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to influence without authority
-
Ability to travel to assigned locations
Responsibilities
-
Deliver, or oversee delivery of, ergonomics services to assigned locations; follows up to ensure effectiveness of recommended solutions
-
Analyze data on injury trends for assigned locations, and develop solutions for improvement
-
Provide management with information about injury trends, costs and impacts
-
May conduct accident investigations to determine root cause
-
Promote good safety practices with all levels of the organization
-
Develop and/or implement safety programs as assigned
-
May write newsletter or intranet articles on health and safety topics
-
May consult on ergonomic standards for workstation products
-
Develop or deliver training on safety related topics
-
Ensure appropriate evacuation plans are in place for assigned locations
-
May participate in integration activities related to mergers/acquisitions
