Appendix D-1 to § 1910.900: Ergonomics Job Hazard Analysis Tools (Mandatory)

Paragraph (j)(3)(i) of the OSHA Ergonomics Program Standard allows employers to use any of the job hazard analysis tools in this appendix, where appropriate to the risk factors in the job, to fulfill their obligations to conduct a job hazard analysis (paragraph (j)(3)) and reduce MSD hazards (paragraphs (k) and (m)). This mandatory appendix contains important information about these tools. A description of each of these tools is also contained in the Summary and Explanation of paragraph (j) in the preamble to this standard.
